cot Mattress

Buying a mattress for a child is different than buying one for an adult. Children are lighter so they need a softer sleeping surface or else the Cot mattress will not conform to their bodies creating pressure point causing more tossing and turning and potential aches and pains somewhere down the road.

There any many things need to consider when buying the kids mattress.

  • The mattress should be waterproof as there might be the chance that you may have to clean it once or twice.
  • Should be adjusted according to children needs such as while sleeping, during playtimes and baby walking
  • Mattress should provide good support to baby’s body
  • Mattress should fit tight so your baby is safe while he or she sleeps.

The child should be able to rest comfortably in all positions when they sleep to allow for this type of growth and enable the appropriate structuring of the child’s bones. A comfortable  Kids mattress should provide enough warmth. Make sure that the thickness of the cot mattress would make it firm enough so as not to be moved easily when the baby rolls but light enough for ventilation.
